Every year the bread oven is fired up for its customary summer season.
On Thursdays a dedicated team of keen amateurs and volunteers knead and shape whole batches of traditional country-style loaves. It doesn’t take long before the beautiful aroma of baking bread fills the air. Bringing extra spice to this weekly event, the farmers’ market stalls offer tempting regional produce such as vegetables, cheeses, cold meats and pastries. La Forclaz Development Society adds a festive touch with a free aperitif offered to all visitors.
