Let your ski pole do the work as you glide over the snow in classic or skating style. Cross-country skiing in Leysin is a real workout but an exercise blessed with endless sunshine as these pistes in the lower village are fabulously sunny.
Located in Leysin’s lower village, the cross-country ski pistes have circuit trails suitable for all abilities. From the riding stables to the ice rink, skiers can choose the degree of difficulty from various departure points.
The uphill trail offers a breathtaking view over Pic Chaussy and the Diablerets glacier. And you’ll see all levels of cross-country skiers on the circuits. Without doubt sunshine is one of the main attractions and early risers can enjoy the sun on the Leysin pistes even in the mornings !
For the more experienced, the downhill piste awaits. This sinuous trail wanders in and out of sunshine and shade. The variety of terrain it covers renders the circuit a technical as well as a physical challenge.
Tracks are only allowed to cross-country skiers, dogs are not allowed. Possible lessons with the ski school.
