Entranceway to the Gruyère Pays d’Enhaut Regional Nature Park, the Col des Mosses Tourist Office houses an information station. Interesting and concise presentations cleverly illustrate the synergy between mankind, nature and culture, indeed the very essence of a nature park.
A total of 6 information stations are spread throughout the territory. All relate to themes specific to the park and so provide an important link between the theory and the reality of the terrain.
The one in Col des Mosses concentrates on exceptional natural sites. In total, 15 outstanding sites are thus featured on maps, photos and descriptions which highlight their special qualities. Amongst them, you can discover or revisit Lake Lioson or the Pierre du Moëlle lapiaz formations.
These information stations also give details of an events programme offering guided tours observing the fauna at mid-mountain level, on the trail of architectural heritage in the villages as well as a tour of the nature reserves themselves.
