Located in the Rhône Valley, Aigle is the ideal hub for any number of outings on touring or mountain bikes. The town is already known as the cycling capital, being home to the World Cycling Centre and headquarters of the International Cycling Union.
Numerous trails crisscross the valley and the banks of the Rhône offering a huge choice of family-friendly routes as well as those for more experienced road bikers. Generally speaking the cycle paths are flat so are ideal for almost everyone.
For the more sporty, Aigle lies at the foot of the Vaud Alps and is the classic departure point for many mountain ascents. Col des Mosses or Col de la Croix are always popular destinations for cycling enthusiasts.
