Thanks to public transport it’s easy to get around Leysin without using the car. The regularity and punctuality of the service as well as the extensive bus route which goes through the village encourages soft mobility.
From the valley Chablais Public Transport’s Aigle-Leysin trainline goes directly to the bottom and top of the village allowing passengers to pick up a shuttle bus which will then take them through the rest of the village.
Passengers can rely on this free shuttle bus from Monday to Sunday morning ‘til night all year round.
The bus takes you on a circuit tour of the village which begins at the ice rink. Some 15 stops allow passengers to call in to the centre of the village, to all the A-L train stations, to Crettaz, to the cablecar station and of course to the top of the village.
