Located above Le Sépey, between Les Mosses and Leysin, Chalet Lacombe provides the ideal lodgings for sports enthusiasts. This alpine chalet in Pierre du Moëllé was built in 1925 by the Diablerets branch of the Swiss Alpine Club.
The chalet has 3 dormitories fitted out with between 4 to 12 beds as well as a dining room which can seat up to 40 people. Groups can hire it on a self-catering basis giving them a free reign with their itinerary. A favourite spot for guests is the fireplace where they gather round and enjoy special moments in the evening recounting their experiences of the day.
Open all year round, you can get to the chalet on foot, bicycle or car in the summer or by touring skis in winter. The dramatic mountainside setting of Chalet Lacombe is on the same route as the Mont d’Or and Famelon tours. The area immediately surrounding the chalet is an enchanting place to discover the native flora and fauna as well as for mushroom picking.
