The Sentier du Petit Trappeur offers children and their parents the opportunity to discover all the secrets of a successful hike. Or how to prepare yourself well to have fun in the mountains in the form of questions and answers.
The Petit Trappeur trail starts from Prélan to reach Prafandaz, which culminates at 1580m. It is a route with twelve stations that prepare children to become experienced hikers.
This 2km journey, with an average gradient, leads to a picnic area equipped with a barbecue fireplace, to recover from the emotions of the climb.
Small budding trappers can choose between two return routes: retrace their steps or continue on a loop trail to Leysin.
Allow 2 hours of walking with the children.
