Stroller ride along the Rhône - N ° 7

Walk from the city center towards the Rhône following the Grande-Eau to reach the CMC (World Cycling Center).

Leave your vehicle at the Glariers car park. You will see the bridge which spans the Grande-Eau and it is from there that the stroll starts on the small grassy and flat path which runs along the river and will guide you to the Rhône.

After about 1 km, on your right, you will have to cross the river on a small bridge then you will continue the walk. The path gradually becomes more stony and an adapted stroller will be necessary. If this is not the case, you can take the tarmac path below, but it is also used by some vehicles.

Always continue along the river and you will arrive at a place called "La Mêlée"; this is where the Grande-Eau flows into the Rhône. Continue on the left towards the World Cycling Center / CMC which you can visit and then enjoy the terrace of the restaurant "Le Vélodrome" for a break.

Possibility to continue on the banks of the Rhône where pedestrians have priority. The return can also be done with the Aigle municipal bus, stop near the shopping center: Aigle industrial zone. Timetables on www.tpc.ch
