Pra Cornet - N°8

Departure through pastures, then small climb in the forest before coming out on the Pra-Cornet plateau and going around it. Located at altitude (1670m), the plateau offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding peaks. Option: departure from Arsat (approx. 2 hours 30 mins).

The start is behind the colony of Lutry. To access it, follow the access markings from the Tourist Office by taking the road for around 300 meters. From the start, to the left of the road, go flat and gently exit the village. Then descend while following the path to the height of the bridge. Cross it before continuing flat for 5 minutes. From there begins a long but regular climb through the troll forest. Observe them well! On leaving the forest, continue the climb towards the Pra-Cornet refuge (approx. 15 minutes). Continue the tour of the plateau while savoring the beauty of the landscape that surrounds you. Once the loop is complete, descend through the forest, then go up slightly across fields to return to Les Mosses. Beware of crossing with the return to Arsat.
Option: Departure also possible from Arsat, allow around 2h30 for the loop.
