Pra Cornet - N°4

At an altitude of 1670m this piste boasts a spectacular panoramic view ! Starts at Les Mosses but can be accessed using the Pra Cornet ski lift (free if you buy a pass from the local cross-country ski club) to avoid the hill climb on skis.

This trail sets out from Nordic House or in front of the Blatti sports shop.

It starts on a small slope before going down towards the furthest part of Hongrin. The trail then climbs gently before an important downhill section direction Arsat (possibility to link up with the blue run), goes around the hill and continues to follow the piste which climbs up until you reach an intersection. This is quite a long ascent.

At the crossroads, you can link up with Pra Cornet (green run) or Le Carro (black run). To continue on to the base of Hongrin (red) carry on straight and complete the little loop in the valley before coming back to the intersection. To rreturn to the village you must continue down the left hand side of the piste.

The piste takes two uphill turns before reaching the village and getting back down to Nordic House.

Practical information

Trek time : can vary enormously depending on the discipline (classic or skating), the snow conditions as well as individual physical fitness ; it’s calculated at an average speed of 7.5km an hour.
