Setting out from the Chamois quarry, trail of medium difficulty descending towards Prélan before climbing back up to Prafandaz. Ideal for an afternoon outing it offers great view points overlooking Lake Geneva.
From the Chamois quarry, take the road up to Prafandaz. After a a few minutes, take a left at the intersection and pass in front of the big building.
The path goes down into the forest and joins up with a road that takes you by a few chalets.
Then the trail goes down through pastures for about 15 minutes before going back into the forest. At the next intersection the downhill road to the left heads to Prélan. The one to the right goes to Prafandaz.
From Prélan, the educational Trapper trail begins and you need to count about 1h15 to ascend to Prafandaz. The lookout points over Lake Léman are simply magnificent. From Prafandaz the road takes you back down to the quarry, the original departure point.
