One of the smaller estates whose vineyards span 2 hectares and are located in the wineproducing areas of both Aigle and Ollon.
The steep hillsides of the Chablais vineyards demand exacting work from the winegrower. It is a particular challenge with the vines on terraces exposed directly to the sun. Most of the plots face south-east and bathe in the morning sun whose rays not only warm the heart and the land but also ripen the grape.
In Aigle, the Barmes and Fontanney territories, planted on limestone scree, produce wines that are both rich and powerful. The Antagne-sur-Ollon terroir has a deep sandy-stony soil left over from an old moraine oozing minerals and a certain finesse. Work focuses on accentuating the different qualities that the soil gives to its chasselas and in garanteeing an optimum maturity on the gamut of varieties grown. Such diversity allows the estate to produce an original collection of quality wines which remain true to the special nature of each grape variety.
