The Luissalet Estate is a family concern spanning 5 hectares on the Chiètres hillside in the viticultural commune of Bex, the southernmost appellation in Vaud County.
Rocky terrain made up of brittle slate lends a distinct character and nobilty to the wines produced from this discreet and subtle terroir. The vineyard’s excellent exposure allows for the cultivation of numerous grape varieties : Chasselas, Chardonnay, Pinot-Blanc, Sauvignon blanc, Gamay, Pinot-Noir, Diolinoir, Cabernet-Franc, Gamaret and Galotta. Each wine is vinified either in the traditional way or in barrels. The dry or sweet wines have received many national and international awards delighting the taster with their remarkable bouquets and finesse.
The entire estate has been granted the « Vitiswiss » label which certifies that production complies with strict organic standards. The winemaker-cellarmaster is the veritable guardian of the estate’s heritage and traditions and also guarantees the authenticity of all the wines you taste…
